The 9 governing planets

The Nine different planets that govern our destiny:

SUN - Royal by nature, gives fame, power, wealth, represents father, prosperity
MOON - Fickle, represents mother, emotions, colour white, silver, water, a favourable moon solves various problems
MARS - Ful of energy, represents courage, strength, status, colour red, wealth
MERCURY - Represents communication, interaction, business, trade, intellect, thought process, speech, marketing
JUPITER - Wisdom, knowledge, authority, luck, steadiness
VENUS - Beauty, wealth, luxury, diamonds, jewellery, media, art, music, flowers, comforts
SATURN - Being practical, balance, hard work, labour, Iron, strength, industry, electronics, foreign languages, factories
RAHU - Diplomacy, cheat, intellect, balance
KETU - Wisdom, luck, breaks, obstructions, knowledge

Saturn in virgo and Jupiter in capricorn seem to make things difficult, there can be more terror attacts, natural disastors, major accidents/ floods, financial/ economic problems around the globe, somehow I feel theres something special about saturn, if strong in the horoscope and if supportive can really do wonders, Saturn being the Son of "Sun" and the brother of the lord of death "Yama", seems to be an impressive personality, daring, rigid but at the same time co-operative once its in your favour.

Saturn and Lord Krishna

When lord Krishna was born in Nandgaon, hearing the news of the birth many saints and gods visited Nandgaon to see Lord Krishna, one among them being Shanidev. Everyone was allowed to have Krishna's darshan except Shanidev. Yashoda stopped him at the door and saying that her son would be frightened at the sight of Lord Shani. Shanidev was highly disappointed and went to the nearby forest and prayed, "O God! I am your servant. You have appointed me to judge and punish sinners according to their karmas. Then why does everybody think of me as being malignant and cruel; why do they avoid even my shadow? Today, when all gods and demi-gods could enjoy the bliss of your darshan, I am denied that right and benediction." Touched by his prayer lord Krishna manifested Himself to him. He advised him to stay put near Nandanvan and granted him the boon that anyone who came to his temple to pray would immediately be freed from all worries and afflictions. That part of the forest where Krishna appeared before Shanidev, has since been called Kokilavan and one can visit the renowned and ancient temple of Lord Shani (Saturn) today which is just six km from Kosi (UP) on the Nandgaon-Barsana road.

Pacifying the Bad & Strong Planets...

If I say, chanting of the following mantras on specific days really works in pacifying your bad planets that brings distress to you in your day to day life , would you believe?, yes , they do work thats what I understand...

• SUNDAY "Om Hraam Hreem Hraum Sah Suryaya Namah" or even "Om Suryaya Namah"
• MONDAY "Om Chandramasay Namah" or even "Om Shraam Shreem Shraum Sah Chandramasay Namah"
• TUESDAY "Om Kraam Kreem Kraum Sah Bhaumai Namah"
• WEDNESDAY "Om Bum Budhaaya Namah"
• THURSDAY "Om Graam Greem Graum Sah Guruve Namah"
• FRIDAY "Om Shum Shukraaya Namah"
• SATURDAY "Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah" or even "Om Sri Shanaishwaraya Swaaha"

The results would come slow, but they do work, anyway my favourite day is Friday, ruled by planet Venus, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, and Saturday - ruled by Saturn, the God of Law and Justice, some interesting facts - Venus takes around 18 years to pass through all 12 Houses in a horoscope...
