Bhagavad Gita

There can not be anything superior than word of god, (the Bhagavad-Gita)

The Bhagavad-Gita is the Gospel of Hinduism,so scientific and one of the great religious classics. Its simple, vivid message is a daily inspiration in the lives of millions throughout the world and has been so for countless generations. Its real Knowledge.

Perhaps the greatest piece of truly inspired spiritual literature ever written. Considered by many to be the epitome of the vast collection of writings that is Vedanta. Its the story of Lord Krishna's holy teachings and advice to a warrior whose heart is in great distress and suffering on the eve of battle. And aren't we all also on the eve of the battle of daily life? Lord Krishna explains the various ways a person can seek and find and know God and live blissfully.

The Bhagavad-gita is in seven hundred Sanskrit verses and consists of eighteen chapters.
The colophon of each chapter towards its end gives a brief idea of the content of the chapter. This classification would make one feel that the Bhagavad-gita deals with eighteen subjects. But actually each chapter has something to say about certain other things also apart from the main intention of the chapter as indicated in the colophon. So True,Further, on a reading of the entire Gita, even several times, it is likely that one may miss the true import of the teaching in as much as it is not easy to stratify in a serial or consecutive order the developmental process of thought in the Gita.. It helps you cross the mind limits and reach new levels, its spoken by God himself. there's nothing beyond Lord Krishna, nothing before him and nothing in between, Krishna is everything, everywhere, ever existing, endless, with no beginning, no middle, no end to it, its beyond the human senses and can be felt and understood only by devotion.

The International Society of Krishna Consciousness (Iskon) is one such organisation which is all about the Hare Krishna movement
